August 3, 2011
As equal partners in the supply chain, the cotton and textile industries are so closely intertwined that significant developments in either one can have a dramatic effect on the other. To discuss that interaction and how leaders on both sides of the equation can work together to improve the business environment for all shareholders, the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) will hold a conference Oct. 15-17 in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, China.
The conference will be held at the Yidu Jinling Hotel and the theme is “Industry Adjustment and Stability – the World and China.” The educational program will feature two major seminars:
- Cotton Textiles Raw Materials and Market Demand, and
- Approach to Enhance Core Competitiveness of Enterprises.
The agenda also includes post-conference visits to cotton textile companies. Bus transportation to Shanghai can be arranged for delegates who plan to also attend the 2011 Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics event from Oct. 18-21.
Sponsored by CNTAC and organized by the China Cotton Textile Association and the China Textile International Exchange Center (CTIEC), the official language of the seminar will be English, with simultaneous to and from Chinese provided. The registration fee is $600 and those interested in learning more can visit http://www.ccta.org.cn/.
