Joe Nicosia Leaves Top Spot at Allenberg Cotton

Anthony Tancredi will return to Allenberg Cotton as chief executive six weeks after leaving, according to news sources.

Tancredi replaces Joe Nicosia, who has served in the position for nearly 30 years and is one of the highest-profile personalities in the cotton trading industry. He will take Nicosia's place effective Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.

Nicosia is expected to continue to play a yet-to-be-defined role at the company.

Allenberg Cotton, based in Cordova, Tenn., resides under the ownership of Louis Dreyfus Commodities.
